Celebrating 20 Years of the Shaw Guild Garden Tour

This year marks a very special milestone as Shaw Guild volunteers celebrate 20 years of hosting their annual Garden Tour. We are deeply grateful to our loyal returning patrons and delighted to welcome new guests to this much-loved event on June 13, 2026.

At each garden site, visitors will discover a variety of beautiful spaces to explore, along with musicians providing entertainment and artists showcasing their talents. Master Gardeners will also be on hand to answer questions and offer helpful tips for your own garden spaces. These special features have become a highlight of the tour and are always eagerly anticipated by our patrons as they enjoy a memorable day immersed in inspiring garden settings.

The McArthur Estate
210 John Street

We are delighted to feature the magnificent McArthur Estate at 210 John Street as a special highlight of this year’s Garden Tour. This exclusive 10-acre property offers guests a truly unique and memorable experience.

A separate $35 ticket is required to visit this exceptional estate in addition to your regular Garden Tour ticket. Entry will be timed by the hour, with a limited number of tickets available for each time slot to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable visit.

During your time at the estate, you will enjoy a variety of on-site experiences, including live musicians, artists, and a refreshing flavoured water station. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the property landscaper and arborist to gain practical gardening tips to inspire their own outdoor spaces.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a remarkable property — one not to be missed.

Historic McFarland House

Historic McFarland House is featured as one of this year’s Garden Tour properties and offers visitors a beautiful variety of herb, vegetable, and flower gardens. As a working garden, it provides a charming glimpse into the past while showcasing practical and inspiring garden spaces.

During the Garden Tour, the Niagara Parks facility will be closed to the general public and open exclusively to tour attendees. Guests will enjoy several added conveniences at this location, including free parking, washroom facilities, and a water station — making it an ideal place to pause and relax.

McFarland House also invites you to make this a delightful lunch stop. A special lunchtime and cream tea menu has been arranged exclusively for Garden Tour guests. Beginning May 17, up to 200 patrons may pre-order and pre-pay for a light lunch by calling 1-877-612-7275. Additional menu details will be available after May 17 — please check back for updates.

Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre
247 Ricardo Street

The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre will welcome Garden Tour patrons throughout the day, with doors open to explore the Centre’s current exhibitions. This location serves as a convenient and inviting rest stop along the tour route.

Guests will have access to washroom facilities, a water station, and free parking. Members of the Arts Centre will also be painting plein air on site, offering visitors the opportunity to watch artists at work as they create beautiful renderings of the surrounding area.

Knowledgeable volunteers will be available to answer any questions related to the Garden Tour and assist patrons as needed.
